Same ground, different result
Bembridge Road, Somerville VIC
Flooded, eroded and underutilised land raised and stabilised — safe drainage falls, stabilised creek banks and usable land returned.
Bembridge Road — plan to finished ground
The proposed earthworks and drainage plan, and the same ground once the fill was placed, levelled and drained.
Concrete driveway renewal
The same driveway: cracked, lifted and weed-filled, then broken out and replaced in exposed aggregate.
Paddock that held water
Aggregate drainage lines cut through the paddock and run to an outfall. Same ground, dry and back in pasture.
Water at the back door
Floodwater reaching the rear of the house. Ground raised with clean fill, falls corrected and a grassed swale built.
Flood-damaged land
Waterlogged and eroded ground reshaped, drained and returned to pasture.
